Radical Genetic Transparency: Why We Don't Guess A2
Gir cattle are predominantly A2A2 by heritage, but a breed statistic is not a result for a named animal. Until there is one on record for her, this page says so rather than leaning on the average.

Godhuli — the hour the cows walk home.ગોધૂલિ વેળા — ગાયો ઘરે પાછી ફરે એ સમય.
The herd
8 in milk, 8 calves on milk, 20 in total head. Every cow is named, free-grazing, and individually tracked.
These are the animals behind every number above. Their names stay attached to each litre from shed scale to household bottle.

What we are claiming, and how we know.
Every commercial promise this brand makes, accompanied by physical evidence or the admission that verification is still in progress.
A2A2 Beta-Casein Genotype
Partial6 of 20 tested. Gir cattle are predominantly A2A2, but that is a population breed average and not a result for Bahor or Bhuri or Bhili or Mathari or Rati or Kabar or Laxmi or Raangadi or Sonu or Gauri or Kesar or Jamana. Until there is one on record, this page marks those animals as untested.
Litres per Cow per Day
RecordedMeasured at 8 litres a cow a day over 58 cow-days of milkings.
Single Herd, Zero Pooled Milk
Recorded12 cows, all owned by us, all resident on our Gandhinagar farm. We possess no collection trucks, no outside cooperative contracts, and nowhere to pool milk from.
Name & Lab Result on Every Bottle
Infrastructure ReadyThe unique serial printed on each bottle cap maps directly to the specific cows milked that morning and the batch cold-chain log. We prefer to show an empty record stream rather than an invented sample.
₹130/Litre vs ₹60/Litre Market Milk
Commercial Premise₹60 is the standard market price for pooled Gir milk in Gujarat. Our premium covers dedicated pasture, calf-first nursing allowances, unadulterated glass bottling, and a page that publicly publishes the short days too.
